To train the singing instrument, one must start by training the singer.

Heather Fletcher is a multi-disciplinary voice teacher.

She trained classically in the USA, the UK, and Australia, and is currently pursuing a PhD music performance research.

She has performed with companies such as Opera Australia, Victorian Opera, State Opera of South Australia and her concert experience comprises extensive choral singing in venues such as Carnegie Hall, New York and St Martin in the Fields, London.

Heather received her Licentiate to Teach from the Royal Academy of Music in London where she did her Postgraduate Diploma in Voice Performance.

She has since worked with students of all levels and is currently teaching voice in the Music Theatre department at the Victorian College of the Arts, Melbourne.
