Dr Heather Fletcher is a multi-disciplinary voice teacher.
She trained classically in the USA, the UK, and Australia.
Heather has performed with companies such as Opera Australia, Victorian Opera, State Opera of South Australia and her concert experience comprises extensive choral singing in venues such as Carnegie Hall, New York and St Martin in the Fields, London.
She received her Licentiate to Teach from the Royal Academy of Music in London where she did her Postgraduate Diploma in Voice Performance. Her PhD in music psychology from The University of Melbourne examined the practices of Australian voice teachers.
Heather works with students of all levels and is currently teaching singing at the Victorian College of the Arts (Bachelor of Arts – Music Theatre) and the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music (Bachelor of Music) where she lectures into the Masters of Music (Opera Performance) course.
